Frequently Asked Questions

What is DavinCoin?
DavinCoin is a decentralized digital token built on a modular smart contract system, offering a unique blockchain-based insurance process, alongside staking and mining functionalities. The platform emphasizes transparency and scalability, allowing for easy future expansions like a Funding Module or additional asset coverage.
How can I acquire DAVC tokens?
You can obtain DAVC by:

Purchasing on Decentralized Exchanges (DEX): DavinCoin is listed on select DEXs, with plans to expand to major centralized exchanges in the near future.

Staking & Mining: Participate in network security by locking up (staking) DAVC or running mining nodes to earn token rewards.

Community Incentives: Keep an eye on promotions, airdrops, or events that may reward active users with DAVC.
How does DavinCoin’s insurance process work?
DavinCoin’s insurance system connects insurance providers and policyholders via smart contracts:

Insurance Provider Setup: A provider registers on-chain, sets fees, coverage terms, and treasury requirements.

Policy Creation: Policyholders select coverage options and pay premiums in DAVC. An NFT is minted to represent the policy, storing details such as coverage dates and amounts.

Claims & Payouts: If a valid claim arises, the system automatically disburses funds from the provider’s treasury (or fallback fee balance), ensuring prompt settlement.
Can DavinCoin insure assets other than trading tokens?
Yes. Though initially optimized for trading assets, DavinCoin’s modular architecture and Oracle integrations allow it to adapt to various asset categories—physical or digital. As long as the insurance provider configures suitable parameters and the OracleModule supports relevant data inputs, any asset can be covered.
What happens if an insurance provider’s treasury balance is too low?
If the treasury balance falls below the minimum required amount:

Fee Balance Fallback: The system uses the provider’s fee balance for payouts.

Account Freeze: If funds remain insufficient, the account is frozen until the insurance provider replenishes the treasury.

Policy Protection: Existing policies stay intact; however, creating new policies is restricted until the treasury meets the minimum balance again.
How does the OracleModule enhance risk assessments?
The OracleModule pulls real-time data from trusted external sources, allowing the smart contract to adjust premiums, coverage limits, and other variables based on current market conditions or asset-related data. This ensures more accurate risk evaluations and fair pricing for insurance policies.
What are the benefits of staking and mining DAVC?

Passive Rewards: Both stakers and miners earn additional DAVC for supporting the network, helping validate transactions or create new blocks.

Network Security: By staking or mining, you actively contribute to DavinCoin’s blockchain integrity and stability.

Future Governance Rights: Many of DavinCoin’s upgrades or expansions involve community proposals, and staking participants often play a key role in governance decisions.
Are there future expansions planned for DavinCoin?
Yes, the DavinCoin ecosystem is designed to grow and evolve. Planned expansions include:

DavinCoin App: A dedicated mobile application for on-the-go insurance management, staking, and more.

Token-Earning Platform Integration: Partnerships enabling people to earn DAVC by completing tasks or offering services, connecting businesses and users via on-chain transactions.

Loan Functionality: A lending module enabling users to borrow DAVC against collateral, expanding DavinCoin’s financial services beyond insurance and into decentralized loans.
Does buying DavinCoin (DAVC) guarantee any profits?
No.
DavinCoin is a utility token designed to enable functionality within the DavinCoin ecosystem — such as staking, mining, and smart-contract-based asset protection.

Purchasing DAVC does not guarantee any profits or financial returns.
We do not promote DAVC as an investment product, and there are no promises of appreciation in value or passive income.

Like all digital assets, the value of DAVC may fluctuate and carries risk.
We strongly encourage all users to conduct their own research and consult qualified professionals before acquiring tokens.
